مِری اعجازؔ محبوبہ ہے اردو

ڈاکٹر اعجازؔ کشمیری

دِلِ اردو دِکھایا جا رہا ہے

گُلوں سے گد گدایا جا رہا ہے

مجھے ہے اس تعلق سے محبت

جو اردو سے نبھایا جا رہا ہے

کیوں لکھتے ہو تم رومن میں اردو

عجب ہی گل کھلایا جا رہا ہے

حسینہ جانے کیوں رُوٹھی ہے مجھ سے

سُخن لکھ کے منایا جا رہا ہے

کبھی غالبؔ، کبھی سوداؔ، کبھی ذوقؔ

چَمَن یُوں یہ سجایا جا رہا ہے

دمِ تحریر ہیں کاغذ پہ کچھ پھول

جہانِ گُل بسایا جا رہا ہے

نہیں ہے میرے بس میں عشقِ اردو

مجھے تو بس لے جایا جا رہا ہے

محبت کو بنا کر اب ایک عادت

سو نفرت کو مٹایا جا رہا ہے

کہی ہے اک غزل اردو میں، میں نے

تبھی تو مسکرایا جا رہا ہے

مِری اعجازؔ محبوبہ ہے اردو

اِسی کو گنگنایا جا رہا ہے
