یہ تمنا ہے ذرا پیچیدگی باقی رہے

اس تَعَلّق میں ہے لازم تشنگی باقی رہے

اُس کی ایسی بھول پر شرمندگی باقی رہے

دیکھ لیتا ہوں کبھی میں تیری اُس تصویر کو

دل کی خواہش ہے کہ کچھ آسودگی باقی رہے

جو دیا تھا تُو نے اب بھی میرا وہ ہی نام ہے

چاہتا ہوں میں تِری موجودگی باقی رہے

اس وَجَہ سے بھی تَعَلّق میں کبھی کھُلتا نہیں

یہ تمنا ہے ذرا پیچیدگی باقی رہے

یُوں ہی اس سے بے تکلف ہونے سے بہتر ہے یہ

فاصلے کے ساتھ کچھ ناراضگی باقی رہے
