غائب خدا، مگر ہے موجود آدمی

بہتر ہے آدمی سے تکرار ہی نہ ہو

دولت کے جو ترازو میں تولے حسن کو

دنیا میں وہ ہجومِ اقدار ہی نہ ہو

جذبات میرے بے وقعت ہیں فضول ہیں

اعجاز کوئی مجھ سا لاچار ہی نہ ہو
