جانے کیسی نگری سے یہ میرا پالا پڑا ہے

جانے کیسی نگری سے یہ میرا پالا پڑا ہے

ہے اگر دولت تو یہاں چھوٹا بھی بڑا ہے

منع کرتے ہیں لوگ سود سے یہ ناجائز ہے حرام ہے

نام بدل کے مگر پڑھنا کتابوں میں عام ہے

سبھی چہرے مرجھائے ہیں مسکرانے نہیں دیتا کوئی

کسی کی یاد میں مگر رات ساری نہیں سوتا کوئی

کسی کا گرا اک نوالا بھی خوراک بن جاتا ہے

کسی کی لاکھ عنایت پہ بھی متکعبر کہلاتا ہے

بازارِ زن سے جس کا گزر ہو وہ مومن نہیں شیطان ہے

جو مسجد سے مگر لوٹے وہ شیطان بھی مسلمان ہے

شعور یہاں عمدہ لباس میں دکھتا ہے

کتابوں میں ذریعہ روزگار بکتا ہے

اس زمانے کو چھوڑ کوئی اور فیضانٓ تلاش کر

تیری ذات ہے مظلوم تُو رحمان تلاش کر
