حمدِ باری تعالیٰ
اشفاق چترانوی
ترے در نہیں تو کہیں پر نہیں ہے
سکوں تو کہیں بھی میسر نہیں ہے
غموں کی شفا بس ہے اللہ اللہ
دوا اس سے کوئی بھی بڑھ کر نہیں ہے
ہے رحمت خدا کی جو مجھ کو بچا لے
نہیں مجھ میں کوئی بھی جوہر نہیں ہے
ہے مجھ کو یقیں تو یہیں پر کہیں ہے
یہاں ہے وہاں ہے تو ظاہر نہیں ہے
تری ذات اعلی تو سب سے جدا ہے
یہاں تجھ سے کوئی بھی برتر نہیں ہے
ترا فن جھلکتا ہے ہر شے میں ہر جا
نہیں تجھ سا کوئی بھی ماہر نہیں ہے
کہے کن تو ہو جائے سب کچھ ہی فورا
تری دسترس سے یہ باہر نہیں ہے
ہوا ہے فنا اب تو جس میں پیارے
یہ کچھ اور شے ہے سمندر نہیں ہے
مجھے تیری باتوں سے لگتا ہے ایسے
مکیں ہے تو کوئی مسافر نہیں ہے
تری بات اشفاق بالکل بجا ہے
نہیں اس کا کوئی بھی ہم سر نہیں ہے
