دل لگایا تھا تو پھر دل سے لگایا ھوتا

یا سرُِعام تماشا نہ بنایا ھوتا

میرا ہر قول بنا جھوٹ،تیرے جھوٹ بھی سچ

کاش میں بھی کسی گنگا میں نہایا ہوتا

ایک ہی بار میں سب جرم سناۓ تو نے

زہر دینا تھا تو قسطوں میں پلایا ہوتا

اب میری قبر پے آتے ہو دعائیں کرنے

گر بچانا تھا مجھے زندہ بچایا ہوتا

عزم،برداشت،صبر،حوصلہ سب ہم کو سکھاۓ گئے

کاش میر ِسفر تو نے بھی کچھ بوجھ اٹھایا ہوتا

میرے مالک تیری دھرتی نے بہت ظلم سہے

کاش انسان کو انسان بنایا ہوتا
