ہے محبت تو ہمیں دل سے اتارا کیوں ہے

ملنا تھا ہم سے مگر ان کو اشارہ کیوں ہے

کوئی سمجھائے گا ہمیں کہ ہم غریبوں پر

ان بے ضمیر امیروں کا اجارہ کیوں ہے

خدا تو ایک ہے رب بھی سبھی کا ایک ہے پھر

کسی کو کم کسی کو زیادہ سنوارا کیوں ہے

اسے تو عشق ہے ان سے جو بستا ہے ان کے دل میں

تو صرف نام کا وہ اب تک ہمارا کیوں ہے

یہاں پر خود ہی دیتا ہے خدا جب ہر کسی کو

تو پھر زمینی خداؤوں کا سہارا کیوں ہے
