اے دل اِتنا کاہے مَچل رہا ہے

بھیتر تیرے یہ کیا چل رہا ہے

ہے رات تو کب کی بیت چُکی

اب کیوں غمِ وصل میں جل رہا ہے

جو تھا رگِ جاں کے قریب کبھی

وہ میرے دل کو ہی نِگل رہا ہے

ہے سایۂ غم اب بھی راہِ سفر

اب تو سورج بھی ڈھل رہا ہے

گر تم جو بدل گئے تو کیا غم

یہ زمانہ بھی تو بدل رہا ہے

روتے پھرتے سو ہی گیا یہ

دل ہولے ہولے سنبھل رہا ہے
