کھلتے ہیں معنئی الم پیدل

دیکھتے رہ گئے عدم پیدل

وہ ہوا میرا ہمقدم پیدل

زندگی کی سڑک پہ بڑھتے ہیں

آپ گاڑی میں اور ہم پیدل

ہائے سرسبز سر زمینِ یاد

سیر کرتا ہوا صنم پیدل

ہیں غنیمت یہ ایک سے حالات

دونوں اک دوجے کو بہم پیدل

جسم و جاں میں رواں ہوئے ہیں درد

لوگ چلنے لگے ہیں کم پیدل

گاڑی ہو یا ہو کم سےکم بائک

اچھا لگتا نہیں صنم پیدل

چلتی گاڑی کو روک لیتے ہیں

لوٹتے ہیں یہاں رقم پیدل

روحِ انسانیت نے کی پرواز

پھٹ رہے ہیں جہاں میں بم پیدل
