اب وہ پہلی سی شدت کہاں ہے

ہجر میں وے تمازت کہاں ہے

ہم تو ٹھہرے سدا کے گداگر

تو بتا تیری دولت کہاں ہے

دیکھ کر چاند جلتا تھا جس کو

آج وہ خوب صورت کہاں ہے

سانس خود ہی چلی آ رہی ہے

سانس لینے کی فرصت کہاں ہے

آئنہ میں نے دیکھا تو دیکھا

سارے عالم کی حیرت کہاں ہے

اب تو بس ایک دل ہی بچا ہے

اور وہ بھی سلامت کہاں ہے

آدمی تو نظر آ رہے ہیں

ہاں مگر آدمیت کہاں ہے

ڈھونڈنے سے جو مل جائے مومنؔ

ڈھونڈ لینا محبت کہاں ہے
