کس پیار سے گیا تھا تری آستیں کے پاس
شاخ حنا کی چاہ میں خنجر ملا مجھے
اس ظلمت حیات میں اک لفظ پیار کا
جب مل گیا تو ماہ منور ملا مجھے
صورت گران عصر کا تھا انتظار کش
تیری رہ طلب میں جو پتھر ملا مجھے
روز ازل سے کار گہہ ہست میں سہیلؔ
دل ہی غم حیات کا محور ملا مجھے
