میرے خوابوں کا نگر کچھ اور ہے

رنگ تھے کل آنکھ میں کچھ اور ہی

آج بھی رقص شرر کچھ اور ہے

لب پہ میرے ہے تبسم کا غبار

ہاں مگر زخم جگر کچھ اور ہے

خود کے ہونے کا گماں ہے بھی تو کیا

سامنے اپنے مگر کچھ اور ہے

شب میں تھیں چاروں طرف شادابیاں

حادثہ وقت سحر کچھ اور ہے

ہو گیا ہے ختم عادلؔ راستہ

پر ترا عزم سفر کچھ اور ہے
