جب بھی دل کھول کے روئے ہوں گے

جب بھی دل کھول کے روئے ہوں گے

لوگ آرام سے سوئے ہوں گے

بعض اوقات بہ مجبوریٔ دل

ہم تو کیا آپ بھی روئے ہوں گے

صبح تک دست صبا نے کیا کیا

پھول کانٹوں میں پروئے ہوں گے

وہ سفینے جنہیں طوفاں نہ ملے

ناخداؤں نے ڈبوئے ہوں گے

رات بھر ہنستے ہوئے تاروں نے

ان کے عارض بھی بھگوئے ہوں گے

کیا عجب ہے وہ ملے بھی ہوں فرازؔ

ہم کسی دھیان میں کھوئے ہوں گے
