میں جس جگہ بھی رہوں گا وہیں پہ آئے گا

مرا ستارہ کسی دن زمیں پہ آئے گا

لکیر کھینچ کے بیٹھی ہے تشنگی مری

بس ایک ضد ہے کہ دریا یہیں پہ آئے گا

مہیب سائے بڑھے آتے ہیں ہماری طرف

کب اعتبار ہمیں دوربیں پہ آئے گا

اب اس ادا سے ہوائیں دئے بجھائیں گی

کہ اتہام بھی خانہ نشیں پہ آئے گا

کمان وقت نے ہم کو ہدف بنایا ہے

کہیں سے تیر چلے گا ہمیں پہ آئے گا

اڑا رہا ہوں غبارہ مگر خبر ہے مجھے

ذرا سی دیر میں واپس زمیں پہ آئے گا
