یہ مامتا ھے جو بٹ کر کبھی نہ بٹتی ھے

یہ مامتا ھے جو بٹ کر کبھی نہ بٹتی ھے

مجھے جو چوٹ لگے، دل پہ اپنے سہتی ھے

میں تیری کوکھ میں دھڑکن کے ساتھ دھڑکا ہوں

مجھے جو دھڑکا لگے پہلے سے دھڑکتی ھے

مرے وجود کی ضامن، مری بقا کا سبب

مجھے خدا سے ملانے کی پہلی ہستی ھے

میں اپنی ماں سے محبت پہ ناز کرتا ہوں

جو ماں کے پاؤں سے لپٹے وہی بہشتی ھے

یہ کائناتِ محبت ھے ماں کے پھیلتے ہاتھ

اسی میں ساری خدائی بھی پھر سمٹتی ھے

اسی کی چھاؤں کو ترسے مرا بڑھاپا بھی

گھٹا بھی ایسی ھے جو پیار سے برستی ھے

چمک رہے ہیں مرے ماتھے پر کئی بوسے

جبیں تو کیا ترے ہونٹوں کو جاں ترستی ھے

اگرچہ باپ مرا سر کا تاج ھے تیرا

تُو اس کے تاج کا انمول سا ہی موتی ھے

زمانے بھر کے ہر اک پھول میں بھرے خوشبو

ہر ایک ماں جو یونہی کھلکھلا کے ہنستی ھے
