ایک آنچل ہے

جو پھیلا ہے افق تا بہ افق

ایک سایہ ہے جو چھایا ہے دل وحشی پر

نغمگی ایک طرح پھوٹتی رہتی ہے کہیں

خامشی رنگ لئے گھومتی رہتی ہے کہیں

ڈھونڈھتا رہتا ہوں

لہجوں میں کبھی باتوں میں

ڈھونڈھتا رہتا ہوں

خوشبو میں

کبھی چاندنی راتوں میں تجھے

تجھ کو پاؤں تو بہت دل کو سکوں آئے گا

تجھ سے مل لوں گا تو قرنوں میں بدل جاؤں گا

ek aanchal hai
jo phaila hai ufuq-ta-ba-ufuq
ek saya hai jo chhaya hai dil-e-wahshi par
naghmagi ek tarah phuTti rahti hai kahin
KHamushi rang liye ghumti rahti hai kahin
DhunDhta rahta hun
lahjon mein kabhi baaton mein
DhunDhta rahta hun
KHushbu mein
kabhi chandni raaton mein tujhe
tujh ko paun to bahut dil ko sukun aaega
tujh se mil lunga to qarnon mein badal jaunga
