raqs-e-ashufta-sari ki koi tadbir sahi
lo mere panw mein ek aur bhi zanjir sahi

imtihan is dil-e-pur-shauq ka karte rahiye
aur is jurm-e-wafa par koi tazir sahi

tan-o-dushnam se diwane na baz aaenge
koi ilzam sahi tohmat-e-taqsir sahi

hum to aawara-e-sahra hain hamein kya matlab
un ki mahfil mein junun ki koi tauqir sahi

har koi yusuf-e-kanan to nahin ban sakta
mera farda hi mere KHwab ki tabir sahi

qafile kitne hi manzil se bhaTak jate hain
hum musafir na sahi hum koi rah-gir sahi

nara-e-zulf-e-sanam shart-e-junun kya mani
dard ruswa hi sahi ishq jahangir sahi
