وہاں سبز سائے بھی راہوں میں تھے

میاں دھول آنکھوں میں جھونکی گئی

کئی لوگ میری نگاہوں میں تھے

وہی محتسب ہیں انہیں کیا کہیں

وہ شامل ہمارے گناہوں میں تھے

زمانہ مرے ساتھ تب بھی نہ تھا

مگر تم مرے خیر خواہوں میں تھے

کہیں پر تو بجلی گری ہے ایازؔ

کئی کارواں اب بھی راہوں میں تھے
