مرے ناصح مجھے سمجھا رہے ہیں
فریضہ ہے ادا فرما رہے ہیں
دھواں اٹھتا ہے اک اک موئے تن سے
سزا اپنے کیے کی پا ہے ہیں
طلسم ہستیٔ فانی دکھا کر
ابھی کچھ دیر وہ بھلا رہے ہیں
جہاں سے کل ہمیں آنا پڑا تھا
وہیں مجبور ہو کر جا رہے ہیں
دکھا دیں گے عزیزؔ انجام دنیا
ابھی تو خیر دھوکا کھا رہے ہیں

abhi kuchh der wo bhula rahe hain
jahan se kal hamein aana paDa tha
wahin majbur ho kar ja rahe hain
dikha denge 'aziz' anjam-e-duniya
abhi to KHair dhoka kha rahe hain
