پہلی سی اب وہ شوخی گفتار بھی نہیں

بانو طاہرہ سعید

پہلی سی اب وہ شوخی گفتار بھی نہیں

مدت سے ذوق نغمہ و اشعار بھی نہیں

سونی پڑی ہے منزل دیوانگیٔ عشق

کیا ہو گیا کہ کوئی سر دار بھی نہیں

واعظ شراب‌ نوشی کے بے حد خلاف ہیں

مل جائے مفت کی تو کچھ انکار بھی نہیں

وہ سامنے جو آئے تو نظریں نہ اٹھ سکیں

اب مجھ میں جیسے طاقت دیدار بھی نہیں

کب ہوگی ختم طاہرہؔ شام غم حیات

اب تک نمود صبح کے آثار بھی نہیں

pahli si ab wo shoKHi guftar bhi nahin
muddat se zauq-e-naghma-o-ashaar bhi nahin

suni paDi hai manzil-e-diwangi-e-ishq
kya ho gaya ki koi sar-e-dar bhi nahin

waiz sharab-noshi ke behad KHilaf hain
mil jae muft ki to kuchh inkar bhi nahin

wo samne jo aae to nazren na uTh sakin
ab mujh mein jaise taqat-e-didar bhi nahin

kab hogi KHatm 'tahira' sham-e-gham-e-hayat
ab tak numud-e-subh ke aasar bhi nahin
