لاشیں

ایلزبتھ کورین مونا

لاش کو دفنانا

آسان کام نہیں ہے

مرنے والے کے احباب کو لگتا ہے

کہ وہ ابھی تک زندہ ہے

اور کسی بھی وقت اٹھ کر

انہیں گلے لگا سکتا ہے

یہی سوچ کر وہ اس لاش کے دامن کو

چھوڑنا نہیں چاہتے

کوئی معجزہ ہونے پر ہی

لاش میں جان آ سکتی ہے

چاہے وہ موت انسان کی ہو

یا کسی رشتے کی

lash ko dafnana
aasan kaam nahin hai
marne wale ke ahbab ko lagta hai
ki wo abhi tak zinda hai
aur kisi bhi waqt uTh kar
unhen gale laga sakta hai
yahi soch kar wo is lash ke daman ko
chhoDna nahin chahte
koi moajiza hone par hi
lash mein jaan aa sakti hai
chahe wo maut insan ki ho
ya kisi rishte ki
