اس لئے دوڑتے ہی ایسے ہیں

اس لئے دوڑتے ہی ایسے ہیں

ہم کو کچھ وسوسے ہی ایسے ہیں

واں پہ گندم بھی کھا نہیں سکتے

خلد میں مسئلے ہی ایسے ہیں

یا تو سارا جہان بہرا ہے

یا تو ہم بولتے ہی ایسے ہیں

روح بھی کیا کرے میاں آخر

جسم کے مشغلے ہی ایسے ہیں

یا مرا عکس جھوٹ کہتا ہے

یا سبھی آئنے ہی ایسے ہیں

اس کو چھپنے میں لطف آتا ہے

ہم اسے ڈھونڈتے ہی ایسے ہیں

جانئے اب ہوئے ہیں ایسے ہم

یا شروعات سے ہی ایسے ہیں

hum ko kuchh waswase hi aise hain

wan pe gandum bhi kha nahin sakte
KHuld mein masale hi aise hain

ya to sara jahan bahra hai
ya to hum bolte hi aise hain

ruh bhi kya kare miyan aaKHir
jism ke mashghale hi aise hain

ya mera aks jhuT kahta hai
ya sabhi aaine hi aise hain

us ko chhupne mein lutf aata hai
hum use DhunDte hi aise hain

jaaniye ab hue hain aise hum
ya shuruat se hi aise hain
