بے سبب مسکرا رہا ہے چاند

بے سبب مسکرا رہا ہے چاند

کوئی سازش چھپا رہا ہے چاند

جانے کس کی گلی سے نکلا ہے

جھینپا جھینپا سا آ رہا ہے چاند

کتنا غازہ لگایا ہے منہ پر

دھول ہی دھول اڑا رہا ہے چاند

کیسا بیٹھا ہے چھپ کے پتوں میں

باغباں کو ستا رہا ہے چاند

سیدھا سادہ افق سے نکلا تھا

سر پہ اب چڑھتا جا رہا ہے چاند

چھو کے دیکھا تو گرم تھا ماتھا

دھوپ میں کھیلتا رہا ہے چاند
