عشق کا فیصلہ نہیں ہوتا

حیات امروہوی

عشق کا فیصلہ نہیں ہوتا

مدعا بھی ادا نہیں ہوتا

بھول جاتا ہوں سب گناہ کے وقت

جیسے میرا خدا نہیں ہوتا

کون سمجھے گا دل کی بیتابی

اس پہ جب آسرا نہیں ہوتا

غیر سے ملتے ہیں وہ چھپ چھپ کر

گویا مجھ کو پتا نہیں ہوتا

دم آخر بھی وہ نہ آئے حیاتؔ

یہ بھی مجھ سے گلہ نہیں ہوتا

muddaa bhi ada nahin hota

bhul jata hun sab gunah ke waqt
jaise mera KHuda nahin hota

kaun samjhega dil ki betabi
us pe jab aasra nahin hota

ghair se milte hain wo chhup chhup kar
goya mujh ko pata nahin hota

dam-e-aKHir bhi wo na aae 'hayat'
ye bhi mujh se gila nahin hota
