دوسروں کی آنکھ لے کر بھی پشیمانی ہوئی
اب بھی یہ دنیا ہمیں لگتی ہے پہچانی ہوئی
اشک کی بے رنگ کھیتی مدتوں میں لہلہائی
پہلے کتنا قحط تھا اب کچھ فراوانی ہوئی
خود کو ہم پہچان پائے یہ بہت اچھا ہوا
جسم کے ہیجان میں روحوں کی عریانی ہوئی
میں تو اک خوشبو کا جھونکا تیرے دامن کا ہی تھا
بوئے گل سے آ ملا کیوں تجھ کو حیرانی ہوئی
اس کا بازار ہوس میں قدر داں ہی کون تھا
جنس دل کی پھر یہاں کیوں اتنی ارزانی ہوئی
