کمبخت یہ شب پہاڑ سی ہے

شاید کہ ہوئی سرایت عشق

کچھ سینہ میں چیر پھاڑ سی ہے

ہر چند کہ بولتے نہیں وہ

باہم پر چھیڑ چھاڑ سی ہے

سو رہتے ہیں ایک ساتھ لیکن

تلوار کے بیچ آڑ سی ہے

انشا اللہ شاید آیا

اس کوچہ میں بھیڑ بھاڑ سی ہے

basti tujh bin ujaD si hai
kam-baKHt ye shab pahaD si hai

shayad ki hui sarayat-e-ishq
kuchh sine mein chir-phaD si hai

har-chand ki bolte nahin wo
baham par chheD-chhaD si hai

so rahte hain ek sath lekin
talwar ke bich aaD si hai

insha-allah shayad aaya
is kuche mein bhiD-bhaD si hai
