پابند غم الفت ہی رہے گو درد دہنداں اور سہی
اشکوں کی روانی تھم نہ سکی آنکھوں کے تھے ارماں اور سہی
آداب چمن انجام تو دے گل سے نہ ہٹا تتلی کو صبا
الفت کی حیا محفوظ رہے گو تجھ میں ہوں طوفاں اور سہی
ہو سعئ کرم غیروں پہ اگر اپنوں پہ مذاق عام نہ ہو
ہم راہ میں ہیں ٹھوکر ہی تو دے منزل کے ہوں شایاں اور سہی
اس دشت وفا میں قیس بھی ہے اور شیخ بھی ہے مشتاق ملن
جو وصل نہیں تو کیا غم ہے کچھ لمحے عباراں اور سہی
اک گل جو گرا برنائی میں بلبل کو یہی افسوس رہا
مشغول رہا غم خواری میں ہوں فصل بہاراں اور سہی
انداز صبا سے واقف ہوں اور ربط بحر سے بھی بالغ
رخ موڑ کے چلنا جینا ہے خواہ اس کے ہوں پایاں اور سہی

ulfat ki haya mahfuz rahe go tujh mein hon tufan aur sahi
ho sai-e-karam ghairon pe agar apnon pe mazaq-e-am na ho
hum rah mein hain Thokar hi to de manzil ke hon shayan aur sahi
is dasht-e-wafa mein qais bhi hai aur shaiKH bhi hai mushtaq-e-milan
jo wasl nahin to kya gham hai kuchh lamhe ibaran aur sahi
ek gul jo gira barnai mein bulbul ko yahi afsos raha
mashghul raha gham-KHwari mein hon fasl-e-bahaaran aur sahi
andaz-e-saba se waqif hun aur rabt-e-bahar se bhi baaligh
ruKH moD ke chalna jina hai KHwah us ke hon payan aur sahi
