کس قدر تھا گرم نالہ بلبل ناشاد کا

آگ پھولوں میں لگی گھر جل گیا صیاد کا

سہل سمجھا تھا ستانا بلبل ناشاد کا

چار نالوں میں کلیجا ہل گیا صیاد کا

زیر خنجر میں تڑپتا ہوں فقط اس واسطے

خون میرا اڑ کے دامن گیر ہو جلاد کا

درپئے آزار پہلے آسماں اتنا نہ تھا

پا گیا ہے کچھ اشارہ اس ستم ایجاد کا

اب تو وہ بھی لوٹ ہے بلبل تری آواز پر

بارک اللہ خوب پھانسا تو نے دل صیاد کا

اس کے صدقے جائیے جس نے تجھے پیدا کیا

شکل دی حور و پری کی دل دیا جلاد کا

وصل میں کیسا ادب اے جان گستاخی معاف

آج لینا ہے مجھے تم سے عوض بیداد کا

آپ بھی خنجر بکف ہیں میں بھی ہوں سینہ سپر

رہ نہ جائے آج کوئی حوصلہ بیداد کا

مجھ کو ہے ایسا چمن درکار جس میں اے جلیلؔ

خوف گلچیں کا نہ ہو کھٹکا نہ ہو صیاد کا
