اب اور وقت ہے کتنا غبار ہونے میں

تو میرا راز بھی کیسے چھپا گیا مجھ سے

ترا جواب نہیں رازدار ہونے میں

یہ قید خانہ بھی اک شب میں کتنا پھیل گیا

اب اور دیر لگے گی فرار ہونے میں

یہاں کسی کا کوئی غم گسار کیوں ہوگا

کہ فائدہ ہی نہیں غم گسار ہونے میں

ہے ایک عمر کا حاصل ہماری بیکاری

گنوائیں کیوں اسے مصروف کار ہونے میں

اس ایک اشک ندامت پہ ناز کر غائرؔ

کہاں یہ بات عبادت گزار ہونے میں
