ضرب پیہم

یہ کیا ضرب پیہم سی

ہر دم ہے سینے پہ میرے

کبھی ضرب الٹی لگی یا

مری پشت خود ضرب پیہم سے الٹی

تو پھر ریڑھ کی ہڈیاں میری چٹخیں

کہ سرحد پہ جوں ایک معصوم بچے کی ہڈی

مجاہد کے بوٹوں کی زد میں پڑی چرمراتی رہی ہو

تو کیا ضرب پیہم سے پیچھا چھڑانا بھی ممکن نہیں ہے؟

نہیں ہے تو کیا میں بھی سیکھوں

وہی ضرب پیہم کی ساری ادائیں؟

کہ یہ ضرب پیہم مقابل کبھی ضرب پیہم کے آئے

یہ ممکن ہے افہام و تفہیم کی کوئی صورت بھی نکلے

کوئی سر محبت کا پھوٹے، فضا گنگنائے

ye kya zarb-e-paiham si
har dam hai sine pe mere
kabhi zarb ulTi lagi ya
meri pusht KHud zarb-e-paiham se ulTi
tu phir riDh ki haDDiyan meri chTKHin
ki sarhad pe jun ek masum bachche ki haDDi
mujahid ke buTon ki zad mein paDi charmaraati rahi ho
to kya zarb-e-paiham se pichha chhuDana bhi mumkin nahin hai?
nahin hai to kya main bhi sikhun
wahi zarb-e-paiham ki sari adaen?
ki ye zarb-e-paiham muqabil kabhi zarb-e-paiham ke aae
ye mumkin hai ifham-o-tafhim ki koi surat bhi nikle
koi sur mohabbat ka phuTe, faza gungunae
