ان سے ہر عیب دور ہوتا ہے

اس کی بھرپائی ہو نہیں پاتی

عشق میں جو قصور ہوتا ہے

نام لیتا ہے جب رقیب مرا

ان کے چہرے پہ نور ہوتا ہے

ان سے منسوب نام ہے میرا

مجھ کو خود پہ غرور ہوتا ہے

شعر کی میرے ہے حقیقت یہ

ذکر ان کا ضرور ہوتا ہے

un se har aib dur hota hai

us ki bharpai ho nahin pati
ishq mein jo qusur hota hai

nam leta hai jab raqib mera
un ke chehre pe nur hota hai

un se mansub nam hai mera
mujh ko KHud pe ghurur hota hai

sher ki mere hai haqiqat ye
zikr un ka zarur hota hai
