کرشن مراری

میں نے اک انجان نگر میں

ایک مکاں پر دستک دی ہے

مجھ کو یہ آشا تھی کوئی فرشتہ سیرت

اپنی بصیرت اپنے نور دل سے میرا رہبر ہوگا

لیکن اب میں دیکھ رہا ہوں

سناٹے کا بھوت کھڑا ہے

بے حس وحشت کا اک پیکر

زہر آمیز ہنسی ہنستا ہے

main ne ek anjaan nagar mein
ek makan par dastak di hai
mujh ko ye aasha thi koi farishta-sirat
apni basirat apne nur-e-dil se mera rahbar hoga
lekin ab main dekh raha hun
sannaTe ka bhut khaDa hai
behis wahshat ka ek paikar
zahr-amez hansi hansta hai
