دوستوں نے یہ گل کھلایا تھا
لئیق اکبر سحاب
دوستوں نے یہ گل کھلایا تھا
ہاتھ دشمن سے جا ملایا تھا
آستینوں میں سانپ پالے تھے
دودھ خود ہی انہیں پلایا تھا
زخم کاری بہت لگا دل پر
تیر اپنوں نے اک چلایا تھا
برق مانگی نہیں فلک تجھ سے
ہم نے خرمن کو خود جلایا تھا
دل کو زخموں سے چور ہونا تھا
عشق کی راہ پر چلایا تھا
پوچھتے ہو دھواں ہیں کیوں آنکھیں
جاں کی بستی میں دل جلایا تھا
میں تو بھولا نہیں سحابؔ اس کو
اس نے کیسے مجھے بھلایا تھا

zaKHm kari bahut laga dil par
tir apnon ne ek chalaya tha
barq mangi nahin falak tujh se
hum ne KHirman ko KHud jalaya tha
dil ko zaKHmon se chur hona tha
ishq ki rah par chalaya tha
puchhte ho dhuan hain kyun aankhen
jaan ki basti mein dil jalaya tha
main to bhula nahin 'sahab' us ko
us ne kaise mujhe bhulaya tha
