مادھو اوانہ

نام بے شک آم آدمی ہو

پر میں تو مسیحا ہوں

کاندھے پر اپنے کرموں کی صلیب

دور سے تماشائی میرے حبیب

میرے رشتے میرے فرض

میرا بیتے وقت کی پرچھائیاں

سب مجھ پر کوڑے برساتے

لے جا رہیں ہیں اجنبی سے مقام پر

لعنتیں برساتے میرے نام پر

مجھے روز دھکیاتے

اور اس پر مجبوری کہ

مجھے خاموش رہنا ہے

سب چپ چاپ سہنا ہے

کوئی نہ مانے کی میں کیا ہوں

پر میں بھی مسیحا ہوں

nam be-shak aam aadmi ho
par main to masiha hun
kandhe par apne karmon ki salib
dur se tamashai mere habib
mere rishte mere farz
mera bite waqt ki parchhaiyan
sab mujh par koDe barsate
le ja rahen hain ajnabi se maqam par
lanten barsate mere nam par
mujhe roz dhakkiyate
aur is par majburi ki
mujhe KHamosh rahna hai
sab chup-chap sahna hai
koi na mane ki main kya hun
par main bhi masiha hun
