وحشت

میمونہ عباس خان

یہی دل تھا کبھی

جو خون کی ترسیل پر مامور رہتا تھا

دھڑکتا تو نوید زندگی لاتا

اب ایسا ہے

رگوں کا جال تو ویسے ہی پھیلا ہے مرے اندر

مگر دل خون کے بدلے

فراوانی سے بہتے

درد کی گردش سے جو بے حال رہتا ہے

تو دھڑکن ٹیس بن کر

سینے میں اک وحشیانہ رقص کرتی ہے

انہی دو انتہاؤں پر کھڑا

یہ جسم و جاں کا سلسلہ میرا

کبھی جینے نہیں دیتا

کبھی مرنے نہیں دیتا

yahi dil tha kabhi
jo KHun ki tarsil par mamur rahta tha
dhaDakta to nawed zindagi lata
ab aisa hai
ragon ka jal to waise hi phaila hai mere andar
magar dil KHun ke badle
farawani se bahte
dard ki gardish se jo behaal rahta hai
to dhaDkan Tis ban kar
sine mein ek wahshiyana raqs karti hai
inhi do intihaon par khaDa
ye jism-o-jaan ka silsila mera
kabhi jine nahin deta
kabhi marne nahin deta
