ہوگا اجالا دعوے داری اس کی تھی

اور اندھیرے سے بھی یاری اس کی تھی

شکر خدا کا جیت گئے ہم جنگ مگر

ہم سے بہتر تو تیاری اس کی تھی

یہ بھی سچ ہے میں اس بار بھی آگے تھا

یہ بھی سچ ہے اب کے باری اس کی تھی

میرے بس میں روٹھ کے جانا تھا منظور

مجھے منانا ذمہ داری اس کی تھی
