ان کے رخ پر جمال ہے گویا

عشق کا سب کمال ہے گویا

تیرے لائق نہیں کوئی تشبیہ

سادگی بے مثال ہے گویا

بات سچ تھی انہیں گراں گزری

راست گوئی محال ہے گویا

سب کو دتکارا اب مری باری

مجھ پہ بھی کچھ خیال ہے گویا

کچھ نہ سمجھے کہ کیا ہے یہ دنیا

ایک مکڑی کا جال ہے گویا

گرمئ عشق ہند سے سورج

ساری دنیا پہ لال ہے گویا

جس کو سن کر ہیں محو حیرت سب

وہ اثرؔ خوش خیال ہے گویا

tere laeq nahin koi tashbih
sadgi be-misal hai goya

baat sach thi unhen garan guzri
rast-goi muhaal hai goya

sab ko dutkara ab meri bari
mujh pe bhi kuchh KHayal hai goya

kuchh na samjhe ki kya hai ye duniya
ek makDi ka jal hai goya

garmi-e-ishq hind se suraj
sari duniya pe lal hai goya

jis ko sun kar hain mahw-e-hairat sab
wo 'asar' KHush-KHayal hai goya
