بستیاں چپ جو ہوئیں بن بولے

شہر خاموش میں مدفن بولے

باغبانی کا ہے سب کو دعوے

آ گیا وقت کہ گلشن بولے

نوک خنجر پہ صدا تلتی ہے

اب اگر بول سکے فن بولے

دل پہ ہیں نقش وہ تیری باتیں

جب زباں گنگ ہوئی تن بولے

کوئی پیرایۂ اظہار تو ہو

چپ ہیں الفاظ تو دھڑکن بولے
