چلو یوں سہی میرا دل دل نہیں تھا

وفا کا لہو اس میں شامل نہیں تھا

یہ سچی محبت کا حامل نہیں تھا

تمہاری پرستش کے قابل نہیں تھا

یہ بہتر ہے اب تم مجھے بھول جاؤ

غضب کی تھی اف وہ ملاقات پہلی

جب اک کم زباں سے تھی کی بات پہلی

وہ ہلکی سی بوندیں وہ برسات پہلی

خدا جانے کیسی تھی وہ رات پہلی

یہ بہتر ہے اب تم مجھے بھول جاؤ

chalo yun sahi mera dil dil nahin tha
wafa ka lahu us mein shamil nahin tha
ye sachchi mohabbat ka hamil nahin tha
tumhaari parastish ke qabil nahin tha
ye behtar hai ab tum mujhe bhul jao
ghazab ki thi uf wo mulaqat pahli
jab ek kam zaban se thi ki baat pahli
wo halki si bunden wo barsat pahli
KHuda jaane kaisi thi wo raat pahli
