آہ اس کا بھی تجھ کو پاس نہیں
بے وفا کچھ نہیں تری تقصیر
مجھ کو میری وفا ہی راس نہیں
قتل میرا ہے تیری بد نامی
جان کا ورنہ کچھ ہراس نہیں
تو ہی بہتر ہے ہم سے آئینے
ہم تو اتنے بھی روشناس نہیں
یوں خدا کی خدائی برحق ہے
پر اثرؔ کی ہمیں تو آس نہیں
