یہ جو ہم سے دو چار بیٹھے ہیں

فتنۂ روزگار بیٹھے ہیں

تشنۂ خوں یہی ہمارے ہیں

یہ جو باندھ کٹار بیٹھے ہیں

تیرے کوچے میں جیسے نقش قدم

کب سے ہم خاکسار بیٹھے ہیں

غیر کے سر پہ تیغ مت کھینچو

ہم تمہارے نثارؔ بیٹھے ہیں
