گرچہ ایسا سدا نہیں ہوتا

محمد زاہد

گرچہ ایسا سدا نہیں ہوتا

ہاں کبھی کچھ پتہ نہیں ہوتا

لوگ ملنے کو مل ہی جاتے ہیں

ان سے پر سامنا نہیں ہوتا

رسم دنیا نبھا رہے ہیں ہم

خود سے ہی رابطہ نہیں ہوتا

بن پئے بھی کئی بہکتے ہیں

ہم کو پی کر نشہ نہیں ہوتا

ان کو بت ہی سمجھ کے پوجا تھا

پوجنے سے خدا نہیں ہوتا

کہنے سننے سے کیا نہیں ہوتا

آدمی یوں برا نہیں ہوتا

یہ گھڑی اب کہ آن پہنچی ہے

دل میں وہ ولولہ نہیں ہوتا

بے غرض کون ہے یہاں زاہدؔ

مل کے بھی فائدہ نہیں ہوتا

han kabhi kuchh pata nahin hota

log milne ko mil hi jate hain
un se par samna nahin hota

rasm-e-duniya nibha rahe hain hum
KHud se hi rabta nahin hota

bin piye bhi kai bahakte hain
hum ko pi kar nasha nahin hota

un ko but hi samajh ke puja tha
pujne se KHuda nahin hota

kahne sunne se kya nahin hota
aadmi yun bura nahin hota

ye ghaDi ab ki aan pahunchi hai
dil mein wo walwala nahin hota

be-gharaz kaun hai yahan 'zahid'
mil ke bhi faeda nahin hota
