گن رہے ہیں دل ناکام کے دن

پھر وہی گردش ایام کے دن

دکھ سے آغاز اور غم پہ اخیر

ہم نے پائے بڑے انعام کے دن

ہے یہی سوچ کر آرام ہمیں

مل گئے ہیں انہیں آرام کے دن

اب نہیں کام کوئی دنیا کا

گویا یہ دن ہیں بڑے کام کے دن

ہیں وہ پھر سے مرے نزدیک نعیمؔ

آئے اندیشۂ انجام کے دن
