پیشانیٔ حیات پہ کچھ ایسے بل پڑے
ہنسنے کو دل نے چاہا تو آنسو نکل پڑے
رہنے دو مت بجھاؤ مرے آنسوؤں کی آگ
اس کشمکش میں آپ کا دامن نہ جل پڑے
ہنس ہنس کے پی رہا ہوں اسی طرح اشک غم
یوں دوسرا پیے تو کلیجہ نکل پڑے
نشترؔ وہ اہل عشق بھی ہیں کتنے تنگ نظر
ان کی زبان نام مرا سن کے جل پڑے
