دل ستانی دل ربائی پر گھمنڈ

آپ کو ہے خوش ادائی پر گھمنڈ

جانتا ہوں اس کا نبھنا ہے محال

کیا کروں میں پارسائی پر گھمنڈ

ناز ہے قاتل کو اپنی تیغ پر

تیغ کو ہے کج ادائی پر گھمنڈ

رحم ان کو حال غم پر آ گیا

دل کرے بے دست و پائی پر گھمنڈ

عاصیوں کو رحمت حق پر غرور

زاہدوں کو جبہہ سائی پر گھمنڈ

گفتگو بھی مجھ سے تم کرتے نہیں

اس قدر اس خوش ادائی پر گھمنڈ

پردۂ در پر کسی کو ناز ہے

ہم کو نظروں کی رسائی پر گھمنڈ

اب انہیں ہے دل نوازی کا خیال

تھا جنہیں تیغ آزمائی پر گھمنڈ

پھر گرفتار قفس ہو جاؤں گا

ہے عبث مجھ کو رہائی پر گھمنڈ

ہو گیا جس کے سبب سے میں اسیر

تھا مجھے اس خوشنوائی پر گھمنڈ

غرق کر دے گا انہیں طوفان عشق

نوحؔ کو ہے نا خدائی پر گھمنڈ
