یہ سب کہنے کی باتیں ہیں
یہ مال و زر تمہارا ہے
مرے دل میں چلے آؤ
یہ خالی گھر تمہارا ہے

حقیقت اور ہی کچھ ہے
کہ وعدہ کرنے والے اپنے
وعدے بھول جاتے ہیں
ضرورت اک حقیقت ہے
کسی انسان کا انسان سے ناطہ نہیں کوئی
کسی کے واسطے بام فلک سے
ستارے توڑ کر لاتا نہیں کوئی
حقیقت اور ہی کچھ ہے
یہ سب کہنے کی باتیں ہیں

kisi insan ka insan se nata nahin koi
kisi ke waste baam-e-falak se
sitare toD kar lata nahin koi
