دیا بجھا تو ہمیں روشنی نظر آئی

فراز دار پہ کوئی ہمیں نہ پہچانا

زمانے والوں کو خوش قامتی نظر آئی

سر دیار وفا دوستوں کے جھرمٹ میں

دریدہ جسم لیے دوستی نظر آئی

اب اور طرز سے نقارۂ خدا گونجے

زبان خلق تو خاموش ہی نظر آئی

وہ رکھ رکھاؤ نہ دیکھا دیے کے جلنے میں

جو اس کے بجھنے میں شائستگی نظر آئی
