مُجھے قرِیب سے جو دیکھ اِنہماک کے ساتھ
ہُؤا ہے مُجھ پہ مُسلّط تُو پُوری دھاک کے ساتھ
مَیں تُجھ کو دِل کے نگر کا بناؤں گا سرپنچ
ہر اِک قدم پہ مِلوں گا بڑے تپاک کے ساتھ
پڑے جو وقت کبھی مُجھ کو آزما کے تو دیکھ
لُٹاؤں جان بھی مَیں تُجھ پہ اِشتیاق کے ساتھ
کہا تھا کِتنا کہ اپنی انا سے باز رہے
وہ ہاتھ جاں سے بھی دھویا ہے اپنی ساک کے ساتھ
زمِیں پہ راکھ جو ہر سُو دِکھائی پڑتی ہے
مِرا وجُود بھی بِکھرا پڑا ہے راک کے ساتھ
مَیں پُوچھ بیٹھا کہ یہ موت کیا ہے، کیسی ہے
بتا گیا وہ معانی بھی اِشتقاق کے ساتھ
نماز کیسی کہ دِل سے غِلاظتیں نہ گئِیں
رشِیدؔ ماتھا رگڑنا ہے صِرف ناک کے ساتھ
