وُہ اعتبار مُجھے دے گا یا نہِیں دے گا

وُہ اعتبار مُجھے دے گا یا نہِیں دے گا
چلو دیا بھی اگر آپ سا نہِیں دے گا
وہ لاکھ پیار لُٹائے، تُمہارے ہوتے مگر
خُمار جیسا محبّت کا تھا نہِیں دے گا
کِسی نے بِیچ سفر میں ہی راستہ بدلا
مَیں خُوش گُمان کہ مُجھ کو دغا نہِیں دے گا
جو دُور رہ کے بھی اِتنی دُعائیں دیتا ہے
قرِیب ہو گا تو وہ شخص کیا نہِیں دے گا
پلٹ کے جانا کِسی موڑ سے اگر چاہُوں
وہ شخص مُجھکو کبھی راستا نہِیں دے گا
بسے بسائے جو لوگوں کے گھر اُجاڑتا ہے
تُمہی بتاؤ خُدا کیا سزا نہِیں دے گا
خُدا نے مُوسیٰ کو یہ مُعجزہ دیا تھا رشِیدؔ
ہر ایک شخص کو تو وہ عصا نہِیں دے گا
