عشق انسان کی ضرورت ہے

جی رہا ہوں اس اعتماد کے ساتھ

زندگی کو مری ضرورت ہے

حسن ہی حسن جلوے ہی جلوے

صرف احساس کی ضرورت ہے

اس کے وعدے پہ ناز تھے کیا کیا

اب در و بام سے ندامت ہے

اس کی محفل میں بیٹھ کر دیکھو

زندگی کتنی خوبصورت ہے

راستہ کٹ ہی جائے گا قابلؔ

شوق منزل اگر سلامت ہے
